449 Photos; Water Barely Tested

Less than two days ago production commenced on one of two clips for Hollows songs. Anaclasis has been hand picked to receive the treatment originally intended for Skyborn. The rest of the band has no idea as yet that all this is going on. They will enjoy, though, I've no doubt.Currently 449 images into the film (which equates to roughly 17 seconds), it's apparent that my level of patience for tedium is bullet-proof; Lauren's circulation is not what she thought. Each frame is a single photo - stop-motion style.
The still to the left gives a glimpse into the sequence we shot the other day. In full motion, the subject picks up a red-paper flower from a vase, uncurls the sheet. With a pair of red scissors she cuts a circle. The camera steps back from her and watches as she cuts 6 circles from the red-paper flower. As she does so, red circles of different sizes populate the floor and wall at a rate much greater than she is producing. The red circles scatter in different formations across the floor and eventually (after 6 seconds or so) run up her leg, arm, across her chest and to the top of her right shoulder. The camera gets in nice and close as they cover her face.
Nayt is joining us tomorrow. He will be wrapped in 762 metres of half-inch audio tape, and just as many vines as needed. He knows none of this yet.
